My love of astrology began at age 7 when I received a Virgo zodiac pendant from my Oma. Everyone in my family had their own pendant, each one a different sign. I was first taken by the symbols ~ the archer for Dad, the twins for Mum, the goat for my sister and the naked lady for me (this was the 1970s…). And then my little brain got ticking. We are a family but each of us is different, unique, with our own identity. Connected but separate.

Ever curious, I devoured everything astrological that came my way, and at 28 I began formally studying Astro*Synthesis, a comprehensive four-year Applied Astrology program at Melbourne’s Chiron Centre, headed by esteemed astrologers Brian Clark and Glennys Lawton. I seriously went down the astrological rabbit hole, diving deep into astrological counselling, relationship synastry, vocational astrology, wholistic healing and astrology, family development, grief and bereavement, and attachment and loss ~ each layer leading to more insight and discovery. At 30 I began seeing clients, my practice was soon thriving and my writing was taking off. It was a complete natural fit.

And then life happened and my heart cracked open and I stopped seeing clients because I felt like I was the one needing 24-hour counselling. I had a break from consultations. Still studying and researching though and always keeping my hand in.

More life happened ~ the really serious wake the f@#k up kind that you don’t mess with and gets you right to your core. It got me back on the astrological horse and I haven’t stopped. I love it and it feels like home.

Enabling clients to rediscover their magic and embody their potential in real and actionable ways ~ and make choices based on new data ~ is a gift and a dream. And witnessing eyes light up bright when something is acknowledged that hasn’t been given space in a looong time is an absolute honour.
